What a lovely day and lovely experience to discover Launceston (and the Cataract Gorge) with Geoff and the pure pleasures of breathtaking landscapes and stories. Best guide ever, a great man and great heart! I will recommend his tours a million times, and Geoff is also amazing with children. Cataract Gorge like you've never experienced it! Sure, you can walk the tracks, have a dip in the pool or in the First Basin, go on the cable car; but to truly experience the Gorge, book a tour with Wallaby Walkabout. Geoff, a local historian, shares his passion and knowledge of the local history - both Aboriginal and European! Plus Aboriginal native flora uses, including native edibles!

Incredible
This is an unbelievable walk to do given it is so close to the CBD of Launceston but you feel a million miles away in some places on the tour. Going back in time and hearing about the Aboriginal story while being on an Aboriginal site is incredible.

I've never done a guided walking tour like this one. It is far more than expected with the bush settings and stories from a master story-teller and great historian. Absolutely amazing experience!

This is the best guided walking tour I've ever experienced anywhere in the world. The Cataract Gorge is incredible but to go beyond the tourist experience and have the history of Launceston and Aboriginal Tasmania in such a spiritual setting just blew me away.
